Pareto Talent Compare

How Pareto compares to other assistant services

Founders who talk to us are usually talking to someone else too. These pages put us next to the providers they name most, using each provider's own published facts, dated and linked, and they say where the other option is the better choice.

One page per provider. Each has a side-by-side table, the Year 1 cost math with every input shown, and an honest list of when the other provider fits you better.

The rules we follow

A comparison written by a competitor is worth reading when you can check it. So every claim about another provider has to pass the same five rules before it goes on a page.

  1. Sourced from their own pages

We use what a provider publishes about itself: its pricing page, FAQ and terms. No blog estimates, no forum posts, no review-site quotes, no guesses.

In practiceEach fact links to the exact page it came from.

  2. Dated and archived

Prices and terms change. Every page shows the date we checked, and we save a copy of each source to the Internet Archive that day.

In practiceWe re-check every page at least every 90 days.

  3. We say where they win

Every page opens with a list of when the other provider is the better choice, before it says anything about us.

In practiceIf they're cheaper, the page says so, with the math.

  4. Like for like

We compare list prices on the same plan length, and we include our own fees, including the one-time $3,000 placement fee.

In practiceEvery input to the cost math is on the page.

  5. Questions, not guesses

Where a provider doesn't publish something, we write "Not published" or turn it into a question for you to ask them. We don't fill the gap ourselves.

In practiceNo logos, no screenshots, no star ratings about anyone else.

How to choose an executive assistant service

Ask every provider the same questions, us included. The answers matter more than the monthly rate.

The money

  • What is the full first invoice, including any one-time fee?
  • What is the minimum term, and what do I owe if I stop at month two?
  • What does a full year cost on each plan?

The person

  • Do I choose from several candidates, or get introduced to one?
  • Where are they based, and how many of my working hours overlap?
  • Which AI tools are they trained on, and can they build automations?
  • What happens if they leave or it stops working, and is that in writing?
